Overview
Algonquin
Township
is the largest township in McHenry County, with a population of 98,481 as of the 2005 Census. The Township includes the communities of
Algonquin, Barrington Hills, Cary, Crystal Lake, Fox River Grove,
Lake In The Hills, Village of Port Barrington, Lakewood, Oakwood
Hills, and Trout Valley.
We are located at 3702 U.S. Highway 14, Crystal Lake,
IL, 60014. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am. to
4:00pm. The Assessor’s office is open until 5:00 pm.
Monthly Township meetings, which ta ke
place at the Township office, are held on the second Wednesday of
each month at 7pm. In addition, the Township conducts an
Annual Town Meeting on the second Tuesday in April at 7pm.
