Chair Yoga from 10:30AM to 11:30AM

Free to all.

Chair yoga is an accessible way to receive the benefits of yoga without getting down on the ground.  Class includes slow gentle movement, meditation, and conscious breathing practices. All poses and movements are practiced seated in a chair or standing using the chair for support.  This class is designed to help you feel relaxed and centered while also building body and breath awareness, strength, mobility and balance in a mindful way.

This class is taught by Sarah Matchen.  She is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher who is passionate about making the practices of yoga accessible to a wide range of students.  Her teaching style is calm and compassionate.  She is also the Studio Director at the Yoga Nest in Lake in the Hills.
