Senior
Services Transportation
Are you a stay-at-home
parent who would like to volunteer and still include your children?
Do you work, but would like to volunteer for a worthwhile project?
Or are you retired, and looking for a way to help the community but
not get involved in an ongoing commitment? Being a volunteer
driver for a senior who can no longer drive him or herself could
make both your lives more fulfilling.
Anyone with a valid drivers License
and proof of insurance is eligible to become a volunteer driver.
Each applicant is carefully screened, including a background check,
to insure the safety of our seniors.
A little of your time can truly make a world of difference to a
housebound senior. For more information on how you can be a
part of this important program, call Sue Pruchniak, Senior Services
Transportation Coordinator, at 815-344-3555. Do it today!
You'll be glad you did.
